The Shimano TCurve Tyrnos rods are every bit
as tough as the reels they were designed for.
There are two models to choose from, depending
on the fishing style – a medium rod rated for
10-15kg line classes which would be perfect for
use with a Tyrnos 20, and a heavier version better
suited to 15-24kg line classes. Those same models
are both available in a roller-tip configuration.

TCurve blanks make use of a special graphite cloth and a unique resin formula that combine to make a stronger, lighter and more responsive rod, so offshore fish won’t know what hit them. All models have long, well-shaped fighting foregrips, heavy duty anodised reel seats, nylon gimbals, and heavy duty Fuji guides, with an Aftco roller tip.
